Position Summary
We are seeking a
Multimedia Designer to join our dynamic
Digital Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling and engaging multimedia content that aligns with Alaya’s brand identity. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including digital and print marketing materials, internal communications, recruitment advertising, social media content, and video production.
The Multimedia Designer will collaborate closely with the People & Culture department, Outsourcing department and other internal teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visuals. The role requires a creative mindset, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Multimedia Content Creation:
- Develop high-quality designs for marketing campaigns, including
- social media graphics, online advertisements, brochures, posters, Infographics and digital e-books.
- Create multimedia content for internal communications, such as
- newsletters, official merchandise, presentations and training videos.
- Design visual materials for recruitment advertising and staff engagement activities in collaboration with the People& Culture Department
- Contribute to video production and motion graphics for internal and external communications.
- Provide low-fidelity and high-fidelity design concepts during the design process, including sketches and wireframes
Brand Consistency
- Ensure that all designs and multimedia assets adhere to HLE’s and Alaya’s brand guidelines.
- Maintain brand consistency across various platforms, ensuring logos, colour schemes, and visual elements are correctly used.
Collaboration And Project Management
- Provide, Receive and implement critical design feedback on team members’ designs.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Provide design support for ad-hoc projects and urgent requests from various departments.
- Be accountable for delivering projects.
- Foster a collaborative and creative environment where feedback is encouraged and innovation thrives.
- Have an excellent workflow, like layer and folder management
Innovation And Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the design industry to bring fresh ideas and innovation to design projects.
- Continuously improve design processes to deliver better outcomes in collaboration with the team.
- Contribute to the development of new design concepts that engage target audiences and support business growth.
- Conduct reviews of current digital assets and optimize them to ensure they meet business goals and enhance overall brand presence.
- Assist in HTML/CSS changes to the website when required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely Completion of Projects: 95% on-time delivery for all design-related tasks.
- Quality of Designs: Consistently high ratings from internal stakeholders on design quality.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain a 100% adherence rate to brand guidelines across all visual content.
- Impact on Recruitment and Engagement: Positive feedback from the P&C team on the effectiveness of recruitment ads and engagement materials.
What We Are Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- An experience of 1-3 years of experience in multimedia design, graphic design, or a related creative role.
- Proven experience in creating digital marketing materials, print designs, and video production.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor web design tasks will be preferred
- Experience in video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with different teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A creative mindset with a passion for design innovation.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Work hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm including a 1-hour lunch break
