The Accountant Receivables will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate records of customer transactions. They will work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth billing and payment processes, as well as provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- Review and verify accuracy of all invoices, payment requests, and other financial transactions.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status and resolve any payment disputes or issues.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing and timely payment processing.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer transactions and update financial databases and systems as needed.
- Prepare regular financial reports and analysis for senior management, including aging reports, cash flow projections, and revenue forecasts.
- Work with external auditors during annual audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to accounts receivable management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or related, ACCA or CMA
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a real estate or property management company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and relevant laws will be an added advantage
