- 3+ years’ experience in a project management role
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, working to moving deadlines whilst maintaining a resilient & adaptive attitude to changing priorities
- Have an obsessive eye for detail and be able to spot artwork errors and inconsistencies
- Impressive organisational skills are essential
- Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the business
- Able to build strong positive relationships with all internal & external stakeholders
- Knowledge of print processes and artwork setup preferred but not essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Internet applications

Scope Of The Role
itsu [grocery] is looking for a meticulous, highly organised Artwork Project Manager to join our Brand team. The role will report directly into the Senior Production Manager and would suit someone who enjoys managing projects, works well in a team and wants to develop their skills in a creative FMCG environment.
- Project management & ownership of the design sign off process; working with relevant Senior stakeholders to ensure timely sign off and accurate briefing of amends to design team
- Project management of packaging artwork for all itsu [grocery] products in the Frozen and Ambient categories from concept to launch (both UK & International SKUs); managing and meeting all deadlines to achieve critical path timings
- Line management of the Studio Artwork Assistant, providing support and advice where necessary
- Managing the day to day running of the automated artwork system & account management of the system provider, feeding back on system developments where appropriate
- Creating accurate and concise artwork briefs for the Brand team & reviewing artwork versions
- Working closely with & co-ordinating the NPD, Supply Chain, Technical, International & Design teams as well as external suppliers to ensure timely, accurate & on brand artwork completion
- Able to effectively communicate artwork project status to the rest of the business and escalate where necessary
- Monitoring the Packaging Artworker’s capacity and re-prioritising artworks accordingly to accommodate
- Responsible for achieving the best possible print specification & quality for all packaging, working closely with the Design team, external printers & suppliers to achieve this and where possible attending print runs in person
- Processing invoices and re-forecasting for artwork plate & repro charges
- Account management of external legal labelling service provider; liaising on translation reporting and artwork reviews
