The Sustainable Supply Chain Assistant sits within the Sustainability team as part of the Responsible Sourcing division at ASOS, reporting to the Senior Sustainability Partner.
Working in the Sustainability Team is all about driving the Fashion with Integrity element of the ASOS business strategy; from engaging our supplier base to drive increased uptake of environmental sustainability tools to track performance, analysing results and helping to communicate with internal teams.
You will support the sustainability team across product and supply chain sustainability and circularity. Working closely with all the Commercial teams, ASOS own brands and suppliers, driving progress towards both our Fashion With Integrity (FWI) goals.
The Details
- Be responsible for monitoring and driving the uptake of the Higg FEM and Environmental Action Plans (EAP) with our facilities across tier 1 & 2
- Work with Excel, PowerBI, other tools to analyse the Higg FEM and EAP results we receive back from suppliers
- Be the face of ASOS' Sustainability Team when onboarding new Supplier \/ Facilities
- Track and record all new facilities that are onboarded, including their initial environmental grading
- Annually submit suppliers environmental grading to the Sourcing Team
- Ad hoc reports, such as submitting environmental information for new territory reports when the Sourcing Team are scoping new regions
- Work with external stakeholder such as Worldly and Cascale
- Responsible for updating and cleaning all internal systems such as SharePoint, Extranet and Supplier Database

About You
We're looking for someone with a keen interest in sustainability and desire to move into this area. Ideally this candidate has good knowledge of the apparel (fashion) supply chain.
In terms of skills we're looking for, we expect good excel skills and ability to build relationships with other ASOS teams and with external suppliers or companies.
Ultimately we're looking for a candidate with a willingness to learn, upskill and develop.
