Job Title: Regional Financial Controller
Salary: ~250k AED
Location: Dubai
Eton Bridge Partners are working in partnership with a specialist electrical distributor who are looking for a Regional Financial Controller (Middle East).
This is an exciting opportunity to lead their Middle East finance function, partner with the regional Managing Director and ensure Group accounting policy, practice and statutory compliance is embedded within the region.
Supported by the Group CFO, you will be a strategic partner in influencing at all levels to guide the regional businesses to further future success, resilience and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business partnering with global and regional leaders to drive strategy and optimise profitability.
- Preparing and reviewing precise monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensuring financial operations align with company objectives and regulatory standards.
- Managing compliance with tax requirements, assisting with tax planning strategies, and ensuring accurate and timely VAT and corporate tax filing.
- Supporting new and emerging local statutory requirements in ME region including tax laws in UAE.
- Collaborating with global members of the finance team to develop market insights and strategies to enhance competitiveness both in the ME region and around the world.
Candidate Profile:
- Chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA/CPA).
- A comprehensive grasp of financial GCC (specifically UAE) laws, regulation, and taxes regulations.
- Experience in wholesale, distribution and large project installations.
- Background in a global / multinational organisation, preferably in Europe and the Middle East.
- Exposure to different ERP systems and the implementation of new accounting systems and processes in a manufacturing / distribution environment.
