Job Purpose:

It is this quest for quality that earned the company the “Dubai Quality Award-1996; the ISO 9002 Certification in 1999, the Dubai Quality Award for the Service Sector 2002, upgradation to ISO 9001:2000 in 2002 and ISO Certification of F&B Department and Le Chocolate in 2003 & 2004 respectively.
The jobholder assists the Senior Quality Manager in reviewing and improving the existing work procedures in relation to the quality standards of ISO 9001: 2000. S/he ensures that all quality forms are standardized and properly used by the concerned staff.
The Quality Controllers, Secretary, and Quality Clerk assist the jobholder in preparing flowcharts, quality manuals, and logs of all quality activities. While supervising and monitoring the performance of Quality Controllers, they ensure that all documentation affecting the quality system or the quality of the product is properly controlled and maintained.
Key Result Areas:
- Coordinate with Department Heads in preparing and improving department work procedures in all ISO-certified areas of EKFC.
- Conduct internal quality audits to determine the effectiveness of the procedures, raise non-conformance reports and follow up on any corrective action.
- Conduct quality audits of suppliers and provide audit reports. Review and recommend improvements in the work procedures and Quality Manual.
- Carry out QMS Performance Measurement and produce statistical analysis.
- Conduct spot inspections of departments and provide assessment reports with recommendations.
- Assist the Senior Quality Manager/ Quality Specialist in any special project or event and as required.
- Design and conduct quality training sessions for all staff in coordination with the Senior Quality Manager/ Quality Specialist and the Training Department.
- Carry out QMS Performance Measurement and produce process measurements and statistical analysis.
- Guide the team of Quality officers and Quality controllers by reviewing their daily reports and performance.
- Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established by ISO 9001: 2000 international standards and execute his/her responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:
- A level or an equivalent qualification. (must have).
- Certification in Quality Management System (preferred).
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in an ISO-regulated environment. Should have completed all necessary operational training at an advanced level.
Skills:
- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be capable of coordinating with different levels of management and personnel.
