Are you passionate about coffee and Italian hospitality? We’re looking for a reliable, skilled barista to join our team at our bustling Italian restaurant and deli in Leyton. We specialize in authentic Italian coffees, pastries, and deli items, creating a warm, inviting spot for our community.
About The Role
As our morning barista, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with expertly crafted coffee and a friendly start to their day. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, adhering to Italian standards.
Serving fresh pastries and deli items.
Providing excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Handling cash and transactions accurately.
Opening the restaurant and setting up for the day.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience**: At least 1 year of barista experience, with solid knowledge of espresso machines and coffee preparation.
- Reliability:** Punctual and able to open the restaurant daily.
- Customer Service:** Outgoing, friendly, and attentive to customer needs.
- Cash Handling:** Confident in handling cash transactions accurately.
- Location:** Preferably living in or near Leyton for ease of commute.
