Junior Compliance Officer

Then REGIS-TR UK’s Compliance team wants to hear from you! We are an energetic and driven team responsible for compliance with responsibilities under UK EMIR. Our goal is to build a best-in-class Compliance team and we’re looking for an exceptional candidate to join us! In this position you will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and the Compliance team in Madrid.
What You Will Do
- Manage the UK Compliance Mailbox and ensure requests are reviewed and addressed within a timely manner
- Oversee the UK Compliance Calendar, ensuring the Compliance team meet all internal and external deadlines
- Manage the UK Compliance Dashboard for monthly and quarterly reporting to governance committees
- Take ownership for and lead assigned Compliance Monitoring and Testing reviews
- Take ownership for the sanction screening of new clients, plus the annual review of onboarded clients
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of experience working in a Compliance, Legal or Risk team within the financial services industry
- Experience with leading Compliance Monitoring and Testing reviews on the first line
- Confident with all Microsoft Office applications
- Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Languages: Fluent in English (both verbal and written), Spanish is a plus
