KRA:
- Conduct industry and market research activities for G&B-s area of strategic interest.
- Support strategy formulation and implementation so as to help achieve commercial success for G&B-s strategic investments.
- Investment management activities - financial updates, board and shareholder related matters.
- Support fundraising related activities and transaction execution.

Job Description:
This role revolves around ensuring commercial success of G&B-s investments in a deep tech battery and a deep tech thermoelectric companies based out of US. - Both of these companies have achieved technology breakthroughs in the recent past and are witnessing early commercial traction. - This role shall be a part of G&B-s Special Projects department, mandated to scale up early success of both the companies, including its investment management. - This is multifaceted role with a mix of industry research, strategy, finance, program management of initiatives, legal aspects etc.
- Provide actionable insights by undertaking wide range of industry research and highlight to G&B the implications of various developments happening in areas of market, technology, policy, competition etc.
- Absorb and assimilate developments happening in battery/energy transition/thermoelectric space by utilizing available subscriptions and a network of experts/consultants.
- Help formulate and implement strategic agenda, business plans, budgets etc. for G&B-s current (or potential) investments.
- Financing (and external fund raising) activities for both the companies.
- Working on ad-hoc / one time requests
- Program management of one - two important initiatives
- Working with Technology / Operations team on simple matters, example-cost analysis etc.
- Supporting legal/CS matters like intellectual property rights or transaction agreements etc.
Essential Qualification & Experience:
- BE & MBA (Finance / Marketing)- Full time degree is must
- 3 to 5 years of work experience post completion of Masters
- Experience in market research organizations, corporate planning / strategy cells of large conglomerate.
Essential Skill Set:
- Industry research and market analysis
- Financial modelling and financial analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to engage with cross functional teams
- Dexterity to handle small matters on technology, operations, legal etc.
