|About the role
Financial Controller tracks cash flow and performs financial planning, forecasting, reporting and budget management.
|What You’ll Do
1. Month end closing
- Preparation & recording of all Journal entries
- Calculation & recording of all accruals, depreciation & amortization
- Preparation of reporting pack - budgets vs actuals
- Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of Chart of Accounts & General ledgers
2. Co-ordination with all business stakeholders in Finance related matters and
providing them support as a Finance business partner
3. Support HR in monthly payroll process
4. Ensures integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying and entering
transactions
5. Execute and monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company,
such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
6. Co-ordination with Internal & External Auditors
7. Ensure compliance with accounting policies & internal controls
8. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and guidelines
9. Preparation of VAT returns
10. Managing treasury related operations such as bank payments, funding and banking relationships
11. Support Finance Head in ERP implementation
12. Support Finance Head in all management reports, presentations and other adhoc requirements
|Minimum Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance with professional qualification CA,
- ACCA or relevant field
- Preference is given to Certified Public Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial accounting & reporting. Previous
|Technical and Behavioral Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Technical Accounting & Auditing standards, ERP, Financial
- planning & analysis
- Advanced MS Excel skills to manage large data on spreadsheets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- An analytical mind with good organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
- Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
|Preferred Qualifications
- Preference is given to Certified Public Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst qualifications;
- Regional experience in the UAE is preferred;
- Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic is considered a strong asset.
