- Role Objective Activate revenue & cost of sale strategy for assigned territory in line with regional manager.
- To be the ambassador of the Oman Air brand externally to all trade, corporate & government bodies in assigned territory.
- Delivery of revenue and cost of sales revenue budgets for territory assigned.
- Take lead and activate propose methods of ancillary revenue campaigns for assigned territory.
- To retain/increase market share on revenue and cultural shift of distribution model reducing any impact to revenue for Oman Air in territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
Area of responsibility
Strategic:
- Implement the revenue/cost of sale roadmap as instructed by regional manager in line with market condition for assigned territory.
- Deliver on assigned budget & cost of sale metrics for the assigned territory.
- Identify territory market opportunities working with marketing to create a suitable marketing plan in line with strategic objectives assigned by regional manager.
- Analyze and feedback territory market situation and competitor practices.
- Drive Oman Air's NDC implementation strategy in territory across all channel.
- Promote and initiate offers for direct sales to navigate towards direct distribution strategy (Web/NDC/Call Center/Mobile).
- Support establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners within territory.
- Take lead in assigned territory concerning market communication to trade.
- Initiate changes to ancillary revenue opportunities to increase additional revenue streams for the territory.
Planning
- Plan, organize, and coordinate sales calls to travel agents' corporate houses and government institutions.
- Creation of territory sales plan to achieve assigned budget responsibility led with direct distribution roadmap.
- Provide regular market feedback to regional sales manager concerning pricing, distribution and practices to improve efficiency & performance.
- Assistance in facilitation of local authorities and corporate standards for trading purposes.
- LeadershipTo act as the deputy to Regional Sales Manager on requirement.
- Guide, coach and mentor the sales team in achieving sales performance and foster growth and development (if applicable)
- Performance Management Handle travel agency incentive program within territory and provide any recommendation for any improvements.
Monitor BSP in assigned territory working with the business to administer any action.
- Any other tasks assigned by management.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Travel & Tourism with 06 years of relevant work experience handling sales in airline industry.
- OR Diploma in a related field with 08 years of relevant work experience handling sales in airline industry.
