We are seeking a results-driven General Accountant to join our
Real Estate sister company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions for the company, ensuring all documents are properly filed and organized.
- Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure the company complies with VAT and other relevant tax laws in the UAE. Prepare and submit VAT returns on time.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including tax and other deductions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management, offering insights into the company’s financial health.
- Supporting Management: Assist management with financial analysis, cost controls, and other ad-hoc financial tasks.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of real estate accounting practices and regulations is a plus.
- UAE Driving License is a must.
- Salary Range is between AED 5,000 to 6,000 based on the Experience
