Job Description
The incumbent would report to the Branch Head, Sales . The incumbent would be responsible for the following:
1. Business volume and value.
- Achieving business goals in terms of volume & value for all lines of the Business
2. Market Development and Business Growth.
- Developing and maintaining an information database of his markets including information on market characteristics, size, competition and other commercial aspects.
- Improving market coverage and productivity of branch personnel.
- Maintaining MIS (Management Information System) as per Divisions needs and providing inputs required to take key decisions concerning his market.
- Developing innovative methods for selling new lines of Business and focus team efforts on fast growing industries in branch area.
3. Dealer Development.
- Ensuring dealer identification, appointment, training and development along Company / MHE guidelines.
- Developing strong relationships with dealers and key customers in his markets.
4. Working Capital Management.
- Maintaining Receivables within set norms.
- Setting credit policy customer-wise with members of team.
- Controlling the under-warranty costs to the extent possible.
5. Customer Service and Satisfaction.
- Making presentations to large projects & customers Achieving and improving customer satisfaction levels on an ongoing basis.
- Reviewing inquiries with the team throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintaining branch inventory {for FG (finished goods) & Spares, if applicable} within specified limits.
6. Team Building & People Development.
- Training team members to make them competent, effective and efficient for achieving branch business parameters.
- Engendering teamwork.
- Developing indepth and detailed knowledge of the area handled.
- Ensuring proactive work culture in the Branch.
- Ensuring the personnel policies / guidelines pertaining to subordinate development, career planning, employee motivation, performance management, culture building are followed.

Qualifications
Essential: Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Graduate in any discipline.
Preferred: Graduate in any discipline with Post Graduate qualification in Management.
Work Experience
Essential: 3 years of relevant work experience for Degree in Engineering OR 5 years of relevant work experience for Diploma in Engineering/ Graduate in any discipline.
Preferred: Experience in sales of Industrial products equivalent or similar to that of Material Handling Equipment industry
