About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven and highly-skilled General Manager for Nepal Operation to oversee our Healthcare Engineering and managed service operations in Abacus – Nepal, subsidiary company of Abacus Insights USA. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless service delivery, driving operational efficiency, and achieving financial goals. The successful candidate will be adept at leading and managing a diverse set of teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to our clients. This role is critical to the growth and operational efficiency of the company as we expand our impact within the healthcare ecosystem.
You Will:
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards aligned to our business objectives. Serve as a key operational liaison between internal teams and the executive leadership, facilitating transparent communication and collaboration.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve operational performance. Proactively communicate opportunities and/or address concerns as needed.
- Budget and Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations, oversee end-to-end financial management, and maintain accurate reporting.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with our clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any issues promptly.
- Legal/Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local laws, and company policies across international markets, including OCR, IRD, and labor regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within a cross-functional team.
- Human Resources Management: Develop and implement HR policies focused on talent acquisition, retention, culture, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Business Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, government bodies, communities, competitors, academia, and recruitment agencies to support business objectives.
- Delivery Management: Ensure productivity, timely delivery, and quality by managing workloads, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining efficient reporting.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a global Engineering / US Healthcare business environment.
- Proven track record of managing teams within an international, matrixed environment, with a strong understanding of cultural differences and global business practices.
- Excellent strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business goals into operational plans and execute effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with a focus on innovation and impact.
