Job Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods, services, and materials essential for project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
- the reporting and stewardship of all procurement related to Projects
- overseeing and managing daily procurement activities for the project.
- managing the RFQ process, including preparing, issuing, and evaluating bids to negotiate with the best suppliers.
- sourcing, evaluating and procuring goods, services, and materials required for project execution.
- analyzing cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or timelines.
- Drafting, revieing and managing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project objectives.
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement issues and facilitate smooth processes.
- ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of materials and services in line with the project schedule and budget.
- preparing and obtaining approval for all necessary procurement documents related to the project.
Qualifications:
You should have/be:
- a B.E degree or an MBA
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in project procurement is required, with a strong understanding of the full project procurement cycle.
- able to read and interpret Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and technical specifications related to project works and machinery.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial
