Job Overview:
A prestigious 5-star hotel in Albania is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Chef to manage the buffet breakfast service, focusing on Bain-Marie-style dishes and other hot breakfast offerings. The ideal candidate will ensure the buffet is consistently stocked, fresh, and beautifully presented. This role requires someone with excellent time management, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prepare and maintain a high-quality breakfast experience for hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee a buffet-style breakfast with a focus on Bain-Marie dishes (scrambled eggs, sausages, grilled vegetables, stews, etc.).
- Ensure all food is fresh, hot, and replenished throughout service.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- Work efficiently to set up and break down the breakfast station within the required time frame.
- Prepare various hot and cold breakfast items, including eggs, pastries, meats, and local specialties.
- Monitor food stock levels and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely replenishment.
- Handle guest requests with professionalism and ensure a high-quality dining experience.
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations and assist in cleaning duties when needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef, Buffet Chef, or similar role in a hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Bain-Marie food preparation and buffet-style service.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and manage high-volume breakfast service.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail, especially in food presentation and quality control.
- Good understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
