The Team & the Role
We're looking for a talented CRM Exec to join our team in London. Whether you've got at least a year of CRM comms experience already or you're completely new to the field, we want to hear from you.
Working within our Marketing Team, this role is perfect for an ambitious individual who is looking to challenge themselves in a role that combines data-driven thinking and comms creativity at a high-growth startup. Perhaps most importantly, you'll be as passionate as we are about maximising wealth for all ✊
In this role, your main priority will be to improve our communication with our customers, using a data-driven approach to manage our CRM channels (email, push, in-app, SMS), to build out our user lifecycle strategy, and to deliver personalised messages that respond to users' individual needs.
Please note we are following a hybrid work model, in which we visit our office 2 times per week.
Ideally You Will:
- Develop and execute strategies to engage and retain Plum users throughout their lifecycle using email, push, in-app and SMS campaigns
- Contribute to expanding and refining our UK and EU user lifecycle strategies
- Leverage user insights to personalise campaign content and devise A/B & multivariate experiments
- Establish performance benchmarks and analyse campaign performance, running tests to optimise them further to improve business KPIs
- Work with the Copy and Design teams to create comms that comply with our brand's visual identity and tone of voice
- Collaborate with the Product team to help ensure CRM activities are aligned with commercial objectives and latest developments.
- Support the execution of Brand and Community initiatives by leveraging CRM messaging channels
Ideally You:
- Have an understanding of how to measure the impact of your work by looking at data and the ability to learn how to use various analytics tools
- Creative, your head is buzzing with inventive ideas
- Curious, you always look for an understanding of the ‘why'!

- A self-learner, not afraid to proactively learn skills to deliver what's required
- Entrepreneurial, and willing to go above-and-beyond what's asked (working within a startup environment you will be exposed to every area of the business)
- Have a user-first mindset - we always aim to do what is best for our customers!
- Have the ability to articulate your decisions confidently and give/take constructive feedback
- Have a strong attention to detail (we need to instil trust in our users at all times, as well as adhere to regulatory guidelines)
Bonus Fist-Bumps, if:
- You've got an eye for design
- You have experience using CRM tools (Mailchimp, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
- You use the Plum app or a similar personal finance app
- You've made TikTok / YouTube / Reels content before for your personal projects
- You have a strong interest in the financial industry
- Have at least 1 year of CRM and/or business growth experience working for a consumer product (preferably in financial services)
