Eram Talent is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer - Civil to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Energy sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and executing various civil engineering projects while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budgetary standards. Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the construction of civil engineering projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and safety regulations
- Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and has construction engineering experience on large projects.
- Coordinates with other functional engineers to ensure correct implementation of the project construction specifications and standards.
- Plans, coordinates, and directs the construction work and Construction Subcontractor to meet all construction milestone dates.
- Prepares the construction plan to ensure the efficiency, quality, safety, and performance of construction to meet project objectives.
- Must have thorough knowledge of construction practices, economic principles, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement project plans and specifications effectively
- Prepare and review project documentation, including Method Statements and risk assessments
- Monitor project progress, report on challenges and solutions, and ensure timely execution within budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and governmental regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction best practices
- Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
