Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated MEP Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the MEP industry, providing assistance to MEP technicians and engineers on-site. As an MEP Helper, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation at the job site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist MEP technicians and engineers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of MEP systems.
- Help with the setup of MEP equipment and materials at the job site.
- Provide physical support for the safe installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
- Organize and maintain tools, materials, and equipment needed for MEP tasks.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of materials, including pipes, ducts, cables, and electrical components.
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under the supervision of senior MEP staff.
- Assist with the testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Support site supervisors with general administrative tasks, including filing and documentation of work completed.
- Assist in preparing work areas and ensuring proper site logistics for MEP tasks.
- Comply with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
