About The Job
We're on the lookout for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team, where you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge web applications. In this role, you'll craft rich, responsive user experiences, participate in product design, and develop new features using the latest in web technologies, including TypeScript(optional), HTML, and modern CSS.
You'll focus on creating responsive UIs with reusable code, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and contributing to our UI framework. If you're passionate about building interactive experiences that delight users and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Primary Responsibilities May Include
- Creating visually appealing and responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, or JavaScript(optional).
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers to implement design concepts, convert designs to HTML/CSS templates, following design language set by designers.
- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness on variety of screen sizes and aspect ratios, including small mobile screens to big tv's.
- Optimizing website performance for speed and efficiency, without compromising on other requirements/factors like security.
- Debugging, troubleshooting and fixing web issues.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Ensuring web app accessibility for all users, and evolve design, UX while closely working with the design team.
- Collaborating with back-end and frontend developers for integrations and converting HTML/CSS templates to react components.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams under agile product development methodology, with daily scrums, scrum planning etc.
Required Front-end Developer Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, with priority given to HTML/CSS or other web UI templating frameworks e.g bootstrap, but experience in native javascript/typescript or javascript frameworks is a plus.
- Very good knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A continuous learning mindset to stay up-to-date with evolving web technologies.
