Job Summary:
Seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to users, ensuring seamless operation of IT systems, and resolving technical issues promptly. Key Responsibilities:
- First-Line Support:
- Respond to IT support requests from internal users through various channels (phone, email, ticketing system).
- Sound knowledge of incident management system and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software related issues promptly.
- Provide guidance and assistance to users on IT-related queries.
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes for employees, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Hardware and Software Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on computer systems, including updates, patches, and system upgrades.
- Coordinate with on-site vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to provide status updates and resolution timelines.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and assist in implementing security best practices.
- Conduct physical verifications (audit) to ensure accuracy of assets record.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify trends in technical issues and propose proactive solutions to prevent recurring problems.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of IT support processes.
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelors in IT / Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support.
