Hiring Sourcing/Procurement Officer for one of Leading manufacturing client based in Muscat. Oman.
Key Accountabilities:-
- Central Procurement for VTO/VPS/VE/VT : Sourcing, Procurement & New Vendor development for major A, class raw materials.
- Assist GM – procurement & Shared Services for Planning & Procurement of Production & Non Production items as per technical specifications received from Design and User departments
3. Assist GM – procurement & Shared Services for material cost control & reduction by negotiation
4. Logistics function – Inbound and Outbound
5. New vendor development in association with purchase and quality department.
6. Vendor Evaluation (once in a year) based on feedback for quality & delivery.
7.Scrap Disposal
Specific Objectives and Performance measurement criteria:
- Timely availability of raw materials.
- Cost Reduction / Savings.
- New Vendor Development
- Assessment of vendor ratings of major raw materials.
Timely scrap of non-moving materials
Offered salary - 650 OMR to 750 OMR
