Craft Gin Club are giving people a reason to say cheers! We've revolutionised the way consumers discover and enjoy new drinks from the comfort of their homes. Since our standout Dragon's Den pitch, we've grown into the world's largest gin club, launched one of Europe's largest rum clubs, and become a key player for a range of exciting beverages.
Now, we're ready to take things even further! As we expand into new markets, product categories, and distribution channels, we're seeking a "Supply Chain, fulfilment and Logistics Lead" to join our team of Craft Club's global supply chain strategy and operations.
About The Department
The Supply Chain and Fulfillment Department is a core part of Craft Gin Club's success.
Craft gin club has 3 distinct business divisions; our monthly DTC subscription businesses, our online DTC ecommerce store, and our B2B sales businesses (e.g. John Lewis) which is both B2B2C and also purely B2B.
To support these businesses we need to move millions of components of stock around the globe. This includes sourcing products globally, overseeing stock at our manufacturing facilities, as well as managing the stock at our UK and European 3PL warehouses, and seeing stock though our carrier partners (UPS, EvRi, Royal Mail etc).
About The Role
We are looking for a candidate with great all round Supply Chain skills to help support the department, but we are especially looking for a candidate to support us with overseeing the supply chain aspects of our ecommerce store.
Role specifics
> Product and sku set up
> Forecasting - Creating and sharing activity forecasts with the 3PL's
> Build plans and test shipments - Creating
> Reporting - Reporting on various supply chain KPI's (e.g. backorders, forecast accuracy)
> Performance management - Monitoring warehouse performance, and flagging issues internally to CGC management, but also challenging the warehouse on improvement plans
> Stock reconciliation - Ensuring that stock is reconciled and matched between WMS systems, reporting, investigating, and resolving any stick discrepancies
> Issuing PO's
> Reconciling invoices - To ensure real costs match expectations, and are in line with budget
> Arranging B2B freight shipments - including taking ownership of costing, planning and delivery
> Tax - Processing the alcohol Duty payments and reclaims for all Channel Island shipments
Requirements
> Tenacious and robust character - who enjoys the cut and thrust of a fast moving supply chain department
> Can do attitude
> Highly numerate - with good to great excel skills
> Great attention to detail
> Confident to have difficult conversations with suppliers and service providers
> Love of Gin and Rum useful, but not essential!!
