The Role
- Maintain a current knowledge of teaching discipline/field of study evidenced in Teaching Portfolio
- Teaches material from an approved curriculum and develops daily lesson plans
- Designs assignments and tests to conform to the objectives of the courses in the curriculum
- Provide clear documentation of student progress, student advising, and support of the academic success for at-risk students
- Maintain current and active knowledge in assigned course in order to bring examples and ideas to students
- Monitor and keep daily log of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress
