Responsibilities

DTO will ensure Departmental Procedures are followed.
DTO will plan and execute facilitation requirements of the Terminal.
DTO will brief the CSE’s and PSE’s at the commencement of every shift. This briefing will include: All VVIP, VIP and CIP movements which are expected for the Shift/Day. Works schedule for all works expected in the terminal for the day, including a copy of all new PERCOW’s which have been issued. Daily expected passenger load figures for departures and arrivals.
Roll-call taken and all areas requiring resources are allocated appropriately.
In case any emergency arises, he should carryout duties assigned as per the Terminal / Airport Emergency Plans.
Ensure that all statutory documents are available and controlled.
Will carry out quality audits at least once in shift.
Ensure that Daily activity / incident and un-serviceability reports are sent to Shift In-charge, Terminal / Airside In-charge and other concerned.
Ensure that various services like passenger’s free baggage trolleys retrieval, left luggage, washrooms cleaning etc. are carried out efficiently without any complaints from public, airline operators or passengers.
Inspect the terminal building periodically for cleanliness and check all passenger amenities like lounge furniture, toilets, drinking water facility, air conditioning, lighting, PA system, CCTV, Flight Information Display Boards, Conveyor Belts etc as per norms.
Inspect Reserved Lounges, washrooms, & areas associated at respective zones and record observations, if any and initiate actions for rectification.
Involves himself/herself in the inspection as per the instructions.
Receives lost and found property maintain proper records thereof. In accordance with the lost and found process.
Ensure that co-ordination is maintained with local police / Traffic police for smooth city side Management.
Maintain public relations with stake holders (operative and regulatory agencies) He will coordinate with airlines and security agencies for smooth flow of passengers. He will ensure that queuing time at various check points are minimum.
Ensure smooth passage of VVIP through the airport and maintain close liaison with protocol, police and other authorities.
Attend to complaints & suggestions by public / passengers. Maintain a complaint book, which will remain open to the public and passengers and ensure that appropriate necessary action is carried out.
In case of emergency situations, basis the established procedures and directions from terminal in charge, take appropriate action at the respective location of work.
Ensure that KPIs for terminal operations are achieved in collaboration with stakeholders.
Ensure that CSE’s and CSO’s manage their respective floors as per required standards

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Airport industry
Demonstrated expertise in terminal operations and management
Proven track record of leadership and decision-making in high-pressure environments
