We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technical Support Officer to join our Laboratories Development and Support Department. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing basic failures and errors in laboratory equipment, as well as managing the routine preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair basic failures and errors in laboratory equipment.
- Manage and undertake routine preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and service activities provided by external contractors.
- Provide support to IT and Quality teams as needed.
- Participate in lab audits and inspections, ensuring compliance of laboratory equipment at all times.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in laboratory equipment/instrument maintenance.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in Greek and English.
