Job Objective
The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Managing top-line & bottom-line for their respective category
- To execute initiatives to maximize revenue, profits and customer experience for assigned business segment
Work cross-functionally, with vendors and with stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective execution of strategy and roadmap
Primary Responsibilities
- Creating and developing a long-term plan and strategy for development of the category
- Develop strong working relationships with buying, marketing and merchandising teams
- End to end management of the category’s top-line & bottom-line
- New brand or vendor acquisition and pricing strategy, managing product portfolio and inventory management
- Vendor management: vendor sourcing & management, vendor relationship management.
- Customer management: Managing key customer relationships, developing multiple channels, optimizing omni channel sales- through mix of online and offline sales
- Category Analytics: proficient in analytics to identify growth areas and execute
- New product development
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent and competent authority
