Job Purpose
dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services across five continents. We operate in 38 countries and 136 airports globally.
As a Junior Storekeeper, you will be responsible to assist the storekeeper in the issue / receipt of stocks and deliveries of materials to various departments, including cargo village for overseas dispatch.
In This Role You Will Be Responsible For
- Assist in undertaking the checking and receiving of goods into stock physically placing items onto the shelf/stock location.
- Undertakes the physical withdrawal of stock, retrieving stock from its location, packaging and dispatch to departments and outstations in accordance with their delivery requirements.
- Assist in physical stock inventories, counting the actual stocks to identify actual stock held.
- Assist storekeepers for inputting into the inventory management system issue and receipt vouchers for stock transactions to ensure the database is accurately maintained.
- Providing clerical assistance for making paper works for despatches
- Item delivery and collection from user departments
- Item delivery to cargo village for overseas dispatches and collections of incoming rush tag shipments from Dubai Airport
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role you must meet the following:
- 10 years schooling or equivalent
- Experience in logistics or storekeeping.
- Attained courses in basic storekeeping.
- One year experience in automated inventory systems would be an added advantage.
