Primary objective:
The HR Operations Manager will be overseeing, managing, and streamlining the human resources operations. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes.
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with labor laws, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, Payroll, Government Relations and supporting the HR team in delivering excellent services to employees.
Areas of responsibility:
- Manage the HR Operations team to ensure delivery of an excellent and accurate HR operations services.
- Supervise the delivery of HR Operations, managing the workflow to ensure accurate, high quality and timely provision of services to all employees within the HR department and across Misk Schools.
- Oversee Employee Offboarding.
- Monitor internal HR systems and databases.
- Lead ongoing HR services process and system improvements.
- Complete HR operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Comply with labor laws and regulations, and handle employment contracts, terminations, and employee relations effectively.
- Manage the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of employee compensation and deductions.
- Guide and support the team members, providing training and development, performance feedback, and goal alignment.
- Monitor HR services trends, best practices, and changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend enhancements.
- Monitor And Review Departmental Budgets.
- Create new and update existing HR policies and procedures and oversee their implementation.
- Evaluate the efficiency of our current HRIS software and propose upgrades or alternatives as needed.
- Oversee and maintain regular HRIS input by collecting relevant employee lifecycle information, such as personal data, contract terms, and benefits and compensation details.
- Compile and present HR operational reports according to the set schedule.
- Guide and verify the accuracy and completeness of all personnel data, including NDAs, compensation, and employment contracts.
- Manage traveling bookings such as annual leaves for non-Saudis, business trips, etc. as per the traveling policy.
- Monitor employees health insurance as per the HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee the process of End of Service (EOS) for exiting employees in accordance with the HR policies and procedures and the Saudi Labor System.
- Manage payroll information by designing systems, directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
- Ensure payroll records are updated by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department transfers.
- Monitor payroll payments and ensure payroll funding is in place.
- Prepare periodic payroll reconciliation and submit reports to the Director of Human Resources.
- Review and process all employees' financial transactions.
- Oversee all required documents and calculate pending dues, unpaid salary, incentives, bonus. Ensure on time settlement and release of payments.
- Manage Government Relations and all its functions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations that may affect Misk Schools and its strategic objectives.
- Conduct research and analysis on government policies, initiatives, and trends that may impact the organization.
- Manage government platforms such as GOSI, Qiwa, Muqeem, Mudad and any other related platform.
- Oversee the processing of all types of visas, including employment visas, residence visas for employees as well as for the guests visas.
- Monitor the renewal of permits and licenses.
- Assisting Director of Human Resources in day to day activities.
- Monitor and process all types of leaves' requests and ensure the adherence to the leaves' policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional duties as and when required by the line manager.
Safeguarding:
- The post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Master’s degree in any related field (desirable).
- Any related professional certificate (e.g. SHRM, CIPD) are preferred.
Experience:
- +8 years of experience in same felid.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
