Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels.
They undertake complex operational activities including development of communications and marketing policies and processes and crises rapid plans, and performance monitoring.
Job Responsibilites
Data Collection and Analysis
- Conduct research and benchmarking studies locally and globally to stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in communication strategy that can be applied to enhance communications tools, strategies and performance in promoting in the best way awareness and communication campaigns
- Conduct research and benchmark best practices to study target customer segments and behaviours to support the development of ZATCA’s marketing strategy
- Conduct evaluation and analytical studies using new tools to support decision-makers in new approaches, campaigns’ launching, regulations
- Research and identify certifications and prestigious awards and assess viability of acquiring at ZATCA
Planning, Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Develop communication strategy and initiatives in line with ZATCA overall strategy and objectives based on best practices and internal needs
- Develop annual plans related to advertisement and marketing campaign activities including objectives, calendar, and target audience and coordinate launching and implementation
- Define marketing strategy, approach, initiatives, policies and processes in line with ZATCA’s overarching strategy and objectives based on best practices and internal needs
- Identify KPIs to monitor the performance of communication activities across ZATCA and secure achievement of communication and marketing goals
- Develop surveys to gather feedback from customers on communication performance
- Track the execution of communication strategy and gather input from different channels, functions, and surveys to assess continuously the performance and effectiveness of communication and marketing campaigns, events and workshops through number of attendees, attendees’ satisfaction, social media mentions, etc. across all social media platforms against pre-set KPIs, highlight gaps, and provide recommendations and ways of improvement
- Use tools to detect any media crisis and risks, and accordingly conduct further research and assess collected input
- Develop and communicate rapid plans with relevant functions to handle arising media crises
- Follow-up on the implementation of corrective actions ensuring timely and effective resolution of identified discrepancies and media crises
- Develop personalities’ analysis reports about the attendees before the Governor’s receptions, ceremonies, and visits
- Conduct sentiment analysis for announcements and new regulations to identify opinions, feedback, and attitude towards them
- Gather and analyze data from different channels for the purpose of enhancing internal and external communication
- Prepare reports including awareness and communication performance results and highlight areas for improvement
Organization and Operations
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
- Perform other duties as requested
Eductaion
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing or equivalent is required
Experience
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
