Position Overview
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology operations, ensuring that systems and infrastructure run efficiently to support business objectives. This role involves managing IT staff, developing and implementing IT strategies, ensuring cybersecurity, and maintaining up-to-date technology solutions to enhance organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy to align with business goals.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Oversee IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business priorities.
2. System and Infrastructure Management
Monitor and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems.
Ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability of IT systems.
Plan and oversee the deployment of hardware and software upgrades.
3. Cybersecurity and Data Protection
Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and IT systems.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and address them proactively.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
4. IT Operations Management
Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring seamless functionality of all systems.
Develop and enforce IT policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Resolve technical issues promptly and provide high-level support when necessary.
5. Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team to achieve departmental goals.

6. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

7. Project Management
Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
Proven track record of managing IT operations, teams, and projects successfully.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
Proficiency in network management, server maintenance, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
