FinTech focused Bookkeeper at FundingPips - Dubai HQ
Please only apply if you have experience in brokerage and forex bookkeeping of at least five years.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company’s Forex transactions.
- Update accounts, including Forex trading accounts, bank statements, and ledgers regularly.
- Process daily financial transactions, ensuring that all entries are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Monitor and manage cash flow related to Forex trading activities.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, with a focus on Forex trading activities.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the trading and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of Forex transactions.
- Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Stay informed about developments in the Forex market and their potential impact on financial records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping within a Forex brokerage or similar financial role.
- Knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations is essential.
- Strong understanding of Forex trading and its financial implications.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a plus.
