This role will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including revenue recognition analysis, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Revenue Recognition: To analyze complex revenue contracts to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with relevant industry standards.
- Prepare and review revenue schedules, journal entries, and support documentation.
- Monitor and analyze revenue trends, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
- Account Reconciliation: To perform monthly account reconciliations for revenue-related accounts, including deferred revenue, unearned revenue, and revenue accounts.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting: To assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including revenue-related disclosures.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve revenue recognition processes and systems.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Stay up to date with the latest accounting standards and industry regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA mission and vision.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Head of Finance.
Job Requirements
- Arabic Speaking: Fluency in Arabic is essential for effective communication with customers.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data analysis, report generation, and communication.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 (Preferred): Experience with Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
Experience
5 Years Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
