Join Almarai as a Purchasing Manager!
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for our Seafood(Fish) Category. In this role, you will ensure the procurement of external goods and services while balancing quality, cost, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Lead CAPEX negotiations for optimal value.
- Build and manage a high-performing procurement team.
- Strengthen supplier relationships for performance improvements.
- Oversee day-to-day procurement operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in procurement, managing diverse supply needs and leading a team of at least two.
- Proven track record in price reduction, supplier evaluation, and development.
- Experience with purchasing systems Experience with purchasing systems (SAP/BaaN/Oracle/JD Edwards, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of the seafood industry and global agricultural markets.
