JOB PURPOSE:
To manage and coordinate the activities that related to governance and to follow up on all decisions and recommendations made in order to ensure their effective execution in line with the bank’s strategic objectives.
Governance:
- The EMKAN and raises concerns to the relevant business line direct manager and the Board Governance Committee, as required.
- Reviewing the EMKAN Related Party Transactions and Conflicts of Interest policy on timely basis.
- Reviewing the EMKAN Conflict of Interest Registry and ensure it remains up to date.
- Reviewing all corporate governance related policies and procedures and ensures are up to date.
- Reviewing the EMKAN Corporate Governance manual and Delegations of Authorities matrix on timely basis.
- Reviewing all board and management committees’ charters are updated and conducting appropriate assessment of any request for a new committee.
- Handling and sorting the daily mail and Correspondence preparation.
Receiving of telephone calls related to the chief of the group and transfer it or report it to him.
Reporting:
Prepare monthly departmental reports to capture the progress, performance and quality in order to verify all the processes that has been implemented through the month.
Provides management with accurate reports, regarding all aspects of the agreed plans, along with conclusions and recommendations.
Related Assignments:
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
Safety, Quality & Environment:
Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Anti-fraud prevention:
Adherence to all regulations and control functions within the EMKAN in order to ensure that governance, Audit, risk and compliance, fraud detecting and combating matters are carried out.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or any other relevant field (Master’s degree is preferred).
Experience:
8-10 progressive years of experience within the same field.

Good presentation Skills.
The ability to handle work stress.
Ability to interact effectively in cross-functional team.
Excellent skills in dealing with computers.
