·Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
·Establish and follow a fixed route plan for self & team of merchandisers
·Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factors.
·Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.
·Drive efforts towards achieving sales targets, drive brands and monthly priorities, there by contributing to the overall goal of the organization
·Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
·Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
·Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
·Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
·Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
·Be responsible for performance of the merchandising team. Establish their route plan, assign tasks, monitor and evaluate their performance.
·Liaise with POSM suppliers for making of specialized POSM/displays after getting the alignment and approval of Unit manager and channel manager
·Monthly review of sales target, achievements, YTD update on scorecard with reasons for the performance, with the UM
·Quarterly review with UM & Bi-annual review the channel manager.
·Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
·Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
·Collect Faster & on time.
·Reconcile accounts within the stipulated time
·Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
·Active participation during collective meetings related to business.
