role of a PMV Manager
1.Maintenance Management: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all plant machinery and vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and longevity. Schedule regular inspections, servicing, and repairs to minimize downtime and costly breakdowns.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.
2. Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and maintenance personnel. Assign tasks.
3. Equipment Utilization: Collaborate with project managers to allocate machinery and vehicles to different projects based on requirements and availability.
4. Budget and Cost Management: Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and replacements of plant machinery and vehicles.
5. Health and Safety Compliance: Implement safety protocols and best practices to minimize accidents and injuries.
6. Vendor and Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of spare parts, components, and equipment.
7. Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular reports on equipment maintenance, utilization. Maintain maintenance logs.
