Eram Talent is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our Client in Jeddah. As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting classroom activities, facilitating student engagement, and aiding teachers in providing quality education. This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong desire to contribute to the educational development of students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in individualizing instruction by coaching a student or a small group of students
- Substitute for the teacher in case of her/his absence if necessary and when instructed
- Uphold and maintain the standards of discipline defined by the teacher
- Assist the teacher in the preparation of lesson material and room environment
- Supervise students on the playground before school, after school, during recess or at lunch time
- Accompany and supervise students on bus journeys to and from school and field trips
- Bus duty: Accompany and actively supervise students on bus after school
- Carry out clerical tasks as needed or assigned by the teacher
- Perform all duties assigned by the administration
- Aware at all times of confidentiality
- Carry out the policies and regulations of the school
- Participate actively in creating positive relationships and rapport with all members of the school community
- Participate actively in creating a good climate in public relations of the school
- Provide for the care and protection of school property
- Actively support decisions made by school administration
Requirements
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or:
- High School Diploma with qualification/experience in child-care
Qualifications:
- Fluent English language speaker
- Relevant skill set appropriate to the nature of the assignment
- Interest and desire to work with children
- Pleasant, patient and welcoming in dealing with children, parents and colleagues from a variety of backgrounds
