Job Brief
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage cash flow, oversee invoicing, and ensure accurate financial reporting, while playing a key role in budgeting, compliance, and financial analysis. You will collaborate with leadership to drive financial performance and provide insights for strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash & Accounts Management:
Manage petty cash, bank receipts, and payments
Oversee invoicing, accounts receivables, and inter-company accounts
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger
Analyze financial performance and prepare reports for leadership
Prepare monthly financial, performance, and maintenance reports
Financial forecasting aligned with the company’s goals
Budgeting & Compliance:
Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and VAT filings
Ensure compliance with regulations and support audit preparation
Closing & Collaboration:
Support month-end/year-end closing processes
Collaborate with teams to optimize financial outcomes and provide recommendations to reduce risk
Skills Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
· 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on reporting, reconciliation, and financial analysis
· Proficiency in financial reporting tools and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Power BI, ZOHO, Xero)
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Solid understanding of financial forecasting, budgeting processes, and compliance
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Arabic & English, both spoken and written
· Valid Driver’s License
Preferred:
· Experience with financial modeling and advanced data analysis tools
· Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA)
· Knowledge of financial regulations and standards in the UAE
