Job Overview:
Ninjaz Portal LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced, tech-driven team. This role requires a Chartered Accountant with deep knowledge of UAE tax laws and the ability to handle company financials end-to-end. If you're passionate about accounting in a startup environment and eager to tackle both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, we’d love to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage bookkeeping and financial reporting for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
Oversee and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, including VAT, corporate tax, and other related matters.
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting reports to the management team.
Handle external financial relationships, including audits and consultations, with the ability to work independently with external consultants.
Assist in implementing and managing accounting systems such as Xero, Zoho, Tally, and others.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth, improve cash flow, and manage costs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial performance and contribute to overall company strategy.
Get involved in the "dirty work" when needed, supporting operational tasks and taking responsibility for all financial aspects of our startup.
Requirements:
Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
Previous experience working in a tax consultancy or similar role, with strong knowledge of UAE tax laws.
Experience managing a full range of accounting responsibilities, including bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting.
Strong familiarity with accounting software including Xero, Zoho, Tally, etc.
Outspoken, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Comfortable with a hands-on role in a startup and growth environment, balancing both strategic and operational tasks.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a tax consultancy firm.
Proven ability to work in a startup or fast-growth company, thriving in a dynamic environment.
