What you will be doing:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities.
- Own cross-functional commercial processes and financial results.
- Prepare and analyze monthly finance reports.
- Manage initiatives across all lines of spends and build trackers and tools to monitor and control actual, accruals and ensure completeness and accuracy of the recorded transactions.
- Oversee all types of reconciliation to align supplier liabilities, rebates, customers receivable, retailers liabilities and their related collections.
- Monitor and resolve any discrepancies in account reconciliation, ensuring account balances are accurate and up-to-date. Support tax and auditing activities.
- Support the accounts manager to prepare the monthly financial and management reporting.
- Support in creating business cases and financial models for operations and new business initiatives supported by data and analytics.
What do you need to have?
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting specially working in central roles, with tech companies, e-commerce or management consulting firms.
Sound Knowledge of:
- A passion for and demonstrated experience working with a dynamic technology companies including internet, super app, and marketplace focused companies
- Comfortable with continuous engagement with C-level and Senior Leadership
- Strong analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written) - comfortable with PowerPoint and Excel and financial reporting
- Strong team-play, comfortable with cross-team collaboration
- Strong bias for action and exceptional Owner mindset
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English
