Job Overview:
Supervise all recruitment and HR operations activities from planning, throughout execution, through to control the HR operations to provide a superior employee experience during the career journey
Key Responsibilities:
Policies & Procedures
Recommend improvements to departmental policy and support in the implementation of procedures and controls
HR Operations
- Administer employees leave applications and records
- Supervise and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new joiners
- Ensure that the new joiner orientation is conducted in a timely and comprehensive manner
- Execute employee contracts
- Supervise GOSI operations
- Supervise the probation appraisal process
- Conduct investigations to resolve employees issues as they arise and support in decision making
- Coordinate with Finance in processing payroll as and when required
- Oversee the employees’ loans and advances requests and maintain their records
- Ensure that employees’ letters and salary certificates are issued correctly
- Handle employees transfers and relocations and coordinate with Admin as and when needed
- Support OD in Training & Development operations as and when needed
- Conduct exit interviews
- Handle employee grievances
- Handle employees’ disciplinary actions as per the company policy and labor law
- Notify all concerned stakeholders about the acceptance of resignations
- Supervise the employees End of Service Benefits (ESB) settlement, if any.
- Supervise employees’ attendance and overtime
- Supervise all matters related to employees medical insurance
HR Database Management
- Supervise updating all employees’ details in the database
- Supervise maintaining all employees’ personal files are complete and properly stored
- Supervise archiving employees information and documents in HR system
Staff Development
- Identify areas of improvement in his/her subordinates and ensure their continuous growth
- Coach and provide formal and informal positive constructive feedback to ensure that work is carried in an efficient manner
- Recommend training needs to bridge staff skill gap
Other Responsibilities
Perform other job related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that are often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Human Resource Management / Business Administration or equivalent
- Certification in II CIPD / SHRM / PHR-i is Preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
