Job Purpose
You will endeavor to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within your assigned area through effectively prospecting and selling. You will vigorously meet or exceed your sales volume and gross profit margin targets. You will develop and gain new customers while maintaining a continuous flow of profitable business from existing customers
Sales Management
- Implement sales programs by developing new accounts and field sales action plans.
- Maintain excellent relationship with existing customers for repeat business.
- Meet or exceed set sales volume as well as the set gross profit margin.
- Develop and manage an efficient distribution network to improve sales performance.
- Rigorously explore the market, establish contacts and build referrals.
- Develop creative promotional strategies to attract more customers.
Customer Management
- Maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers by making telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations.
- Ensure that customer requirements are precisely understood and translated timely into growth opportunities.
- Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers.
- Prepare clear and effective written proposals/quotations to customers in line with the set sales budget and profit margins.
- Ensure that all orders are fulfilled according to the customers’ order form in terms of quantity, quality and agreed delivery dates.
- Ensure customer complaints or issues are attended to and resolved in a timely manner to the customers’ satisfaction.
- Maintain an updated customer database in the network that accessible to the sales team
Market Research
- Conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
- Provide innovative ideas and suggestions to improve the Group’s market presence
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops & conventions & establishing professional networks
Problem Solving/Analytical Thinking
- Builds a logical approach to address problems or opportunities or manage the situation at hand by drawing on own knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.

- Ability to efficiently and effectively plan and monitor tasks in a very organized and predictive manner.

- Ability to negotiate effective deals across a variety of contexts i.e. ability to close sales in an assertive manner without being aggressive or coercive.
Reporting
- Ensure sales reports and figures are entered timely and accurately in SAP.
- Preparation and timely submission the following reports reflecting accuracy in details and figures:
- Weekly field sales action plans
- Weekly & monthly sales reports
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate from a recgonized university in Sales, Business Administration or Marketing. Certifications in Sales and Marketing will be a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experiene in a Construction Chemicals, Paints or Coatings Businesses.
