The Architecture Manager will lead architectural projects and manage a team of architects and designers, ensuring that all designs meet client specifications, industry standards, and project deadlines. You will be responsible for overseeing design quality and coordinating with other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions that address client needs.
Knowledge
- Asset optimization in compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and other applicable codes and standards and authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Conversant with LEED sustainability design principles and requirements.
- General knowledge and orientation in the latest trends in engineering and technology and best practice
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, SAP, Aconex, Autodesk, and other frequently used computer software
- Knowledge of BIM authoring/viewing/reviewing tools, and the latest 3D geometrical and analysis software packages such as Grasshopper, Rhino, Sketch-up, etc
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor of architecture, urban planning, or similar
- Master's degree in architecture preferred
- LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications strongly encouraged
- Experience working in the Middle East a plus
- Professional licensing (NCARB, AIA, RIBA, etc.) preferred
Experience
- 15+ years' proven experience in architectural engineering
- Experience in the design and review of codes and regulatory compliance
- Experience with various building typologies, such as educational, industrial, civic, sport, leisure, recreational, residential, hospitality, cultural, aviation, etc
- Experience reviewing architectural and master plan assets ranging in complexity
- Excellent technical writing skills and high proficiency in English (required)
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple project assignments, and meeting strict deadlines whilst ensuring quality output
- Proven track record of collaborating within teams with a solid ability to prioritize tasks in a highly dynamic environment
- Demonstrated skills in communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
