Eram Talent is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Engineer / Sub Contractor Engineer to join their team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of procurement requests and review project specifications to determine the necessary materials and services
- Support the identification and evaluation of potential subcontractors and suppliers
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts and procurement agreements
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and status of orders
- Communicate regularly with project teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery processes
- Support compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in procurement or engineering roles, preferably in the construction industry
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and contract management
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with procurement software is a plus
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
- More than 3 years' experience in procurement/subcontract or related work in the oil and gas industry
- Experienced in leading upstream companies in Oil and Gas: ship chartering experience is required
