With 14 training centers across Pakistan, THFs programs are designed to empower underserved communities and align with industry demands, focusing on trades like IT, digital marketing, healthcare, and traditional vocational skills.
Position Overview:
The Dean of Teaching and Learning will lead the academic programs across THF's campuses. This role will focus on curriculum development, faculty training, and aligning THF's educational offerings with both local and international industry standards. The Dean will be responsible for scaling THF's programs and introducing innovative teaching strategies to ensure students gain employable skills in high-demand industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Faculty Training & Development:
- Lead faculty hiring and professional development to maintain high teaching standards
- Establish continuous training programs for instructors to ensure they are up to date with industry trends
- Curriculum Design:
- Drive the development and regular updates of the curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry needs in fields such as IT, digital marketing, healthcare, and traditional trades
- Integrate globally recognized certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, Pearson) into the programs to enhance student employability
- Industry Collaboration:
- Forge and maintain relationships with local and international industry partners, focusing on building employment pipelines and internship programs.
- Liaise with industry leaders to keep curriculum relevant and ahead of market trends.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Spearhead initiatives to scale THF's programs, including the expansion into global and online training models
- Ensure THFs educational programs are financially sustainable, working with industry partners to sponsor student education and create pathways for practical, on-the-job learning experiences
Qualifications:
- Masters or Ph.D. in Education or a related field (Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory)
- 10-12 years of leadership experience in education, technical education, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to innovate in curriculum design and faculty management
- Strong industry connections, both locally and internationally, particularly in sectors like IT and healthcare
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
