We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Chief Accountant to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in corporate accounting and possess expertise in the following areas:
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Systems & Reporting:
- Expert in Zoho Books and Excel reporting tools.
- Financial Operations:
- Manage accounts payable and ensure efficient handling of transactions.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and detailed review.
- Monthly and Group Accounting:
- Oversee the monthly closing of books.
- Handle consolidation of accounts for group companies.
- Perform inter-company reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Audit Support:
- Prepare schedules and assist auditors during internal and external audits.
- Tax Compliance:
- Ensure accurate VAT filing and compliance with UAE corporate tax regulations.
- Hospitality Industry Experience (Preferred)
- Candidates with hospitality industry experience will be given preference, though this is not mandatory.
Requirements
- Experience: 8 to 10 years in corporate-level accounting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel, and accounting best practices.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE VAT and corporate tax laws.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or CA -Chartered Accountant, These qualifications ensure the candidate has in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance—critical for overseeing corporate-level financial operations.
- Other Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
