Requirements
- To undertake maintenance welding activities on SAR Infrastructure as directed by
- Senior Welding Specialist, to perform all facets of arc welding on tracks to produce a safe and usable track
- Undertake all work in accordance with manufacturers
- Undertake all work in accordance with SAR safety procedures
- Check that vehicles, plants, tools, equipment, and materials under your control are fit for use and are used/ stored and disposed of correctly
- Accurately report all work completed/not completed and produce/maintain records as required
- Ensure the track is safe for normal operations after work is completed
- Minimum 5 years of MMA ARC Welding on Railway Infrastructure, including AMS Crossings
- Valid certification of Railway Track ARC Welding on AMS Crossings, plain line, and Turnout Components
- Valid Driving license
- Physically Fit
- Welding & Grinding Equipment Safe/Correct Handling
