Basic Function
Ensuring that budgeting, financial planning and analysis, reporting and allied Finance and Accounting functions are performed effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and prepare financial reports or statements including monthly, quarterly and year-end accounts.
- Prepare annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the team, monitor progress and changes and keep management abreast of the organization’s financial status.
- Coordinate and execute annual audit process, liaise with the external auditors and assess any changes if necessary.
- Prepare other periodic & ad-hoc financial reports, management accounts and regulatory reports required by laws while achieving accounting operational objectives by contributing information, trend analysis and forecasts.
- Evaluate the results of actual vs budget, study the variances and analyze trends and correlation between operational and financial data with the purpose of efficiency improvement and cost minimization
- Responsible for the treasury management of the Company, manage cash flow requirement including finances for capital expenditures and working capital requirements of the Company and ensure weekly/periodic reporting to management on the same.
- Direct and supervise the company’s overall payable management including bank, cash and foreign remittances.
- Ensure the maintenance of company’s fixed assets in accordance with relevant international accounting standards and local requirements and as per adopted policies and insurance matters.
- Ensure the maintenance of accounting records and accounting controls and review of the book-keeping process.
- Implementation of the new systems to integrate additional modules and functionalities with in-house financial applications.
- Develop external leadership with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, bankers, lawyers and consultants.
Education And Qualification
Master’s in finance / professional accounting qualification / SOCPA Member
Professional Experience
More than ten (10) years, with five (5) years in similar role
