Momentum Marketing and Events is urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for a professional with a strong background in managing project-based finances, payroll processing, and ensuring efficient financial operations in a fast-paced marketing agency environment.
As an Accountant at Momentum Marketing, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing the financial aspects of our projects, managing payroll, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and have solid expertise in Excel, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Project Financial Management:- Track and manage project payments, including supplier invoices, vendor payments, and part-time or freelance staff disbursements.
- Monitor and reconcile project budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial plans and identifying variances.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of project costs, payment schedules, and expense reports.
Payroll Management:- Process payroll for permanent, part-time, and freelance staff, ensuring accuracy in calculations and timely disbursement.
- Maintain records of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions while ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:- Ensure timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Follow up on outstanding payments from clients, ensuring smooth cash flow management.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:- Generate detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, project expense summaries, and cash flow analyses.
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations, ensuring alignment with bank statements and internal records.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist in preparing financial documents for audits and internal reviews.
General Financial Administration:- Collaborate with internal teams to manage financial workflows for campaigns and activations.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents, contracts, and receipts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency and cost management.
Requirements:- Experience:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a marketing or creative agency.
- Proven expertise in managing project-based finances, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, zoho, or similar).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with UAE accounting standards, payroll regulations, and VAT compliance.
- Understanding of project-based financial workflows is a significant advantage.
